There are many things for sure to learn for the year of rat.
Among all the Chinese festivals, Spring Festival (or Chinese New Year) is obviously the number one. There are many legends such as Great Race, Nian etc. Chinese New Year celebration starts way ahead of the Chinese New Year Day and does not end till 15 days after it. This is also the one that most Chinese people travel back home and celebrate it together with families.
