一日为师,终身为父。
yī rì wéi shī, zhōng shēn wèi fù
Literally, it can be translated as “He who teaches me for one day is my father for life.”
It means, “Once my teacher, always my teacher. “
谁言寸草心,报得三春辉。
shéi yán cùn cǎo xīn, bào dé sān chūn huī
Such kindness of warm sun, can’t be repaid by grass.
滴水之恩当涌泉相报。
dī shuǐ zhī ēn dāng yǒng quán xiāng bào
The favor of a drop of water should be repaid with a surging spring.
吃水不忘挖井人。
chī shuǐ bù wàng wā jǐng rén
when you drink the water, think of those who dug the well
知恩图报。
zhī ēn tú bào
Cherish others’ kindness at heart and pay back the favor.
投之以桃报之以李。
tóu zhī yǐ táo bào zhī yǐ lǐ
Give me peaches, I will return plums.
