This Mongolian Chinese song is a really lovely one. Once I heard it, the melody remained in my head. This song was composed and written by the father and given to the daughter when she was 3 years old. At that time, nobody would have imagined that the song would become so popular in 10 years. The family, including the writer and composer and singers, live in Inner Mongolia, the song was therefore written in both Mongolian and Chinese. Here I only translated the Chinese part since, as you can understand, I don’t know any word in Mongolian, although I am quite sure that the meaning in both languages is the same.
The singers are 英格玛 (yīng gé mǎ ) ,布仁巴雅尔(bù rén bā yǎ ěr )，乌日娜(wū rì nà ). (sorry, I don’t know their name in Mongolian, so I have to name only the Chinese ones).
Let’s listen: The music is simple but beautiful. The words are also like a children’s poem, pure and lovely. And the singers, from one family, esp. the little girl, are absolutely fabulous.
