The world is colorful. Colors are so important that we see them, touch them, play with them all the time. When we ask kids questions, we may not get any answer; but if we ask them what colors they like the most, we are sure to get responses:　boys tend to answer “blue“（蓝), little girls “pink”(粉红）.

We get to know the basic colors. OK, let’s list them below:

Red - 红　hóng

Blue - 蓝　lán

Yellow - 黄　huáng

Green - 绿　lǜ

White -　白　bái

Black - 黑　hēi

Orange -　橙　chéng
