yang - Goat in Chinese

Red envelopes are popular during Chinese New Year period. Normally adults give them to children red envelopes sealed with some lucky money. Since 羊 is quite simple, this project is a nice combination of the introduction to Chinese tradition (red envelopes) and a little practice on one Chinese character.

You need the following materials

  • 11 red envelopes (or red pieces of construction paper in the rectangular shape)
  • a stapler
  • glue (to glue the red envelopes onto a large piece of paper) or blue tack (to glue them onto the wall)

Follow this link to see how to make it.

Hope you enjoy making these lovely crafts.
